This is a high end affordable housing product and as such there was a large emphaisis on providing a naturally ventilated building with very high occupant comfort expectations.
Thermal mass, high insulaltion levels and high performance glass were essential to optimise to ensure that the cost of these sustainable features were kept very low.
Air flow across the site and through the apartments were carefully worked through in conjunction with the architects.
