This project is an exciting new five storey, 2,500m2 commercial building, situated in Ann St at the heart of Fortitude Valley.
The unusually narrow block presented a number of interesting challenges to the design team. We offered electrical, mechanical, and ESD services to assist with the Development Application, and scheme design.
Our ESD calculations found the introduction of an open air atrium, a green roof, and an active façade to minimize mechanical cooling plant. We also introduced an automated car stacking system to optimize use of the confined block.
