The East Gheran site, 10km West of the centre of Tripoli, Libya is to be redeveloped into a world class residential precinct with accompanying commercial and residential facilities a part of the broader regeneration of Tripoli.
GLE are responsible for providing building services, energy, and sustainability consultancy for the East Gheran. The proposed development will include 1730 residential dwellings which range from ultra exclusive villas to studio apartments.
Green Leaf’s approach to adopting passive ventilation wherever possible led to building geometries and orientations that enable comfortable use of the building for most of the year without active cooling or heating.
