This home pays homage to the luxurious Californian architectural vernacular whilst embodying comfortable sustainability.
Green Leaf Engineers were involved from the initial design stage, influencing orientation glazing and facade selection to maximise the passive sustainable design opportunities.
Further to this, we designed active electrical and mechanical systems to minimise both capital and running costs. The result: We turning a potential black hole of energy into a premier example of sustainable design, while compiling a report on the physics of the building, increasing the client’s understanding of sustainable opportunities and design principles.
