Fabrice and Pyron Solar have developed the Triad floating solar concentrator photovoltaic (CPV) system. This unique solar technology floats on water to ensure optimal orientation of the photovolataic cells to the suns energy.
The system uses the water it floats on for structural support and orientation as a heat sink to decrease the cell temperature and therefore increase the efficiency of the module.
