Green Leaf were appointed to provide control tower of the Legacy Way road tunnel in Brisbane. This tunnel consists of a 4.6km underground toll road that will link the Western Freeway at Toowong with the Inner City Bypass (ICB) at Kelvin Grove.
Essential to the safety, operation and economic viability of the Legacy Way project is the provision of a Tunnel Control Centre (TCC). The TCC will serve as the operational hub to monitor and control a multitude of tunnel systems governing traffic signals, toll controls, charging, ventilation, lighting, seepage, wastewater pumping, fire engineering, access and safety systems. The TCC shall also house a number of tunnel operational and maintenance facilities including staff facilities, workshops and storage areas in addition to office space.
