The Brisbane Housing Company's social housing development at Fitzgibbon has become an exemplar template for sustainable, affordable housing. Working in close collaboration with the architectural team, we achieved thermal comfort with superior natural ventilation, and ultra efficient building services to provide high-end amenity for tenants at an economic price.
GLE were responsible for providing sustainability and environmental solutions. We ensured the development minimised its' carbon footprint and conducted thermal modeling to ensure each dwelling achieved a minimum 6 Star NatHERS energy rating.
