In local sustainable engineering news, ecogeneration has reported on Australias first operational, large scale, gas-powered, co-generation plant in a commercial office builiding.
The plant received the Gold Award at the 2009 Association of Consulting Engineers Australia Awards for excellence.
Located in Brisbane city, the co-generation plant is pushing Brisbane closer to its target of halving emissions by 2026.
