The project requires the refurbishment of the existing offices and spaces currently used by existing staff. Tune!FM and Student Support & Welfare are proposing to collocate into this area as a way of promoting their services and encouraging greater interaction with students on campus.
Tune!FM is the longest serving University Radio Station in Australia having been in operation for over 38 years.
The proposed relocation of both services is aimed at improving accessibility, providing greater opportunity for student interaction and improving current functional relationships.
Our consultancy is responsible for the following services:
Preparation of demolition details for electrical and mechanical services. New design of electrical distribution, lighting and emergency lighting, data and communications, fire alarm system, security access. New mechanical design comprises heating and ventilation alterations and additions, air conditioning, building management and controls system to UNE requirements. Concept development and design of ESD initiatives to meet UNE’s ESD requirements for the project.
